First off, remember that all those hot, forced violent scenes that you've jerked off to in videos DO NOT HAPPEN in a community dungeon! Well, sometimes, but not without everyone giving informed consent in advance. Mutual consent and negotiated scenes are an important part of responsible dungeon play.

Attire:
Wear any masculine attire you like… or wear nothing (We like nudity!). Wear your leather. Bring the fetish outfits you’re not comfortable wearing on the street. The nastier the better. Free lockers are available while they last, so be kinky, be slutty, be who you really are under your street clothes!
About Membership
The SFCitadel is a private membership club, so a membership is required for admittance. This gives you legal protection to be a kinky pervert playing with other kinky perverts in a private space to which you belong. You’ll be given a set of rules to read and will sign a form that attests that you’ve read it and understand the importance of what you’ve signed. The cost is $10 per year. Party admittance is $20, which goes to pay the rent, keep the lights on, and buy the food for the party. The SFCitadel is a labor of love by a large group of volunteers and is not a commercial enterprise
A Note About Safer Sex
Just so that you know, when we invite you to join us for "sick, twisted, and perverted fun," we're talking about kinky BDSM and not unsafe sex. As long as it's consensual you can bite nipples, flog backs, spill hot wax on chests and stomachs, insert needles....but thou shalt not ever put your dick up someones ass without wrapping it first in a condom. The same goes for putting fists up butts - gloves are mandatory for these parties. Play safe so you can come and play another day.
The condoms and lube that STOP AIDS kindly provides us with are there to be used!.
NOTAFLOF (AKA "No pervert gets left behind")
If you’re on a limited income or unemployed and find the cost of admittance too steep, we encourage you to volunteer. We try not to ever turn someone away because of an inability to pay, but you might not be able to pick and choose what you do. You can help us with party set up, clean up, or as a locker attendant. Volunteers play for free, but have to contact us in advance to be assigned a volunteer task. And if it’s your first time, you do have to pay the $10 membership fee.
Conduct:
On a serious note, we have volunteer dungeon monitors (trained by the Dungeon Monitors Association) walking the dungeon during our parties watching the scenes and making sure that everyone is playing safe. We are a dungeon that enforces the use of safe words. Every submissive or slave in a scene is expected to know the house safe words SAFEWORD and RED. If either word is heard by the top during play the scene stops. Period. No exceptions. Dungeon Monitors WILL enforce this. (Note: “Ouch” is NOT a safe word!)
If you’re new to dungeon play we encourage you to come… and just watch for now if that’s where your comfort level is. But you do need to be aware of the rules involving voyeurs. You stay at a respectful distance… don’t crowd the players… and don’t under ANY circumstances interrupt them or try to talk to them. In fact, you shouldn’t be talking to anyone else either anywhere near where a scene is taking place!
This isn’t a sex club where piling on is considered a fun thing to do. The Master or top is in charge of his scene, and unless you receive a direct invitation from him, hands off!
No Poppers in the DungeonIt should go without saying that if it's illegal to use on the street, it's illegal to use
in the dungeon. Safe BDSM play is clear headed BDSM play!
Butyl Nitrate, Amyl Nitrate. You know what it is. We know that there are guys who have been using poppers for years without any problems. We also know they're readily available over the counter in stores and online. We're not telling you anything new in stating that it's use as an inhaled substance is actually illegal, don't please bring poppers into the Citadel. So please help us preserve your play space and our mens parties by leaving them at home!

Dungeon Orientation
Doors open at 8, and at 8:30 a special orientation for those new to dungeon play is always given by an experienced member of our leather community. This is your chance to get a tour of our dungeon and ask any questions you may have about BDSM or public play. Remember, no question is stupid nor will the Master leading the orientation ever make fun of you for asking ANY question, so ask!

Our address is 1277 Mission Street, one door north of 9th Street. A single story UNMARKED gray building. Just two blocks east of the Civic Center BART/MUNI station, in the heart of SOMA, San Francisco’s leather neighborhood. Easy street parking is usually available, but as with any urban area at night, you should be aware of the potential for a car break-in and leave NOTHING in site within your car. If you’d like safe, secure parking, it’s available at the Holiday Inn parking garage around the corner on 8th Street between Market and Mission.

SF Citadel is a 5,400 square foot facility. Two floors are well appointed for all sort of play parties, social events and video/film/stills production uses.
