Why the SFCitadel is a membership space
We understand that many members of the leather community rely on discretion for any number of reasons. By being a private membership dungeon, the SFCitadel is protecting your privacy. As a private club, the SFCitadel is NOT open to the public, and therefore consensual acts between our members within the SFCitadel are legally acts IN PRIVATE.
What is required of you to become a member?
You must be a legal adult.
We ask that you read the rules of the SFCitadel and sign that you will agree to abide by them. ( The rules, which are based on common sense, safety, and respect for your fellow members, are also on this web site ) Beside your signature we ask that you print your legal name, because, lets face it, signatures are often illegible.
You must be able to produce a legal ID to prove your age and that you are who you say you are.
You must pay $10 for a years membership.
You will be given an SFCitadel membership card, which you must be able to show when you come to SFCitadel play parties. ( Classes and events held by organizations that rent the SFCitadel may not require your membership card. ) This proves not only that you're a member, but that your membership is current. .
Your SFCitadel membership card
Your legal name DOES NOT have to appear on your membership card. Members may choose to only have their first name, nick name, or scene name on their card. It records your membership number, and the date you joined. If you do not have your membership card with you when you come to the SFCitadel, you may have to purchase another membership.
How your privacy is protected
NO information from your legal ID is recorded. No drivers license number is kept. No address. Not your age, not the color of your hair or eyes... not even your gender. We don't need it and we don't want it!!!
Giving us your e-mail address is strictly optional. But we appreciate it when you do give it to us, so that we can occasionally keep you informed of events at the SFCitadel.
